Jeep Malaysia, a member of DRB-HICOM Berhad (DRB-HICOM) today announced the re-emergence of the legendary Jeep in the Malaysian market.
This has been made possible following the exclusive distributorship award from Chrysler Group International to DRB-HICOM.
Making a grand come back, four Jeep’s popular models, namely the Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, Wrangler and Compass, and their respective variants were introduced to the Malaysian market in a special media preview this morning. The preview were attended by YBhg Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Hj. Mohd Khamil bin Jamil, Group Managing Director of DRB-HICOM Berhad, YBhg Dato’ Radzaif Mohamed, Chief Operating Officer, Automotive Distribution and Manufacturing of DRB-HICOM Berhad, YBhg Dato’ Hisham Othman, CEO of EON Berhad and Mr. John Kett, General Manager, Head of Jeep Brand, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) APAC.
All vehicles come with a 5 year warranty or 150,000km whichever comes first. The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland comes with a 3.6 litre Pentastar V6 engine of eight-speed transmission with fuel saver technology. Priced at RM 468,889, the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland comes with Bi-xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps with automatic-levelling system, premium leather seats; leather stitched instrument panel and armrest, exotic open-pore wood trim and unique exterior colour offerings.
