When one told me, building something that makes you smile everyday. Not achieving something that makes you look back and feels regret on everyday.

Handling in the FD was regarded as world-class, and it is
still regarded as being one of the finest handling and the best balanced cars
of all time. The continued use of the front mid-ship engine and drive train
layout, combined with a 50:50 front rear weight distribution ratio and low
center of gravity, made the FD a very competent and popular cars at all limits.
Of the many features that make the RX-7 stand out, the
Wankel rotary engine is by far the most important of the features. The company
and light weight Wankel rotary engine is situated slightly behind front axle, a
configuration marketed by Mazda as front mid-engine. Though having only a 1.3L
engine, being a small and light weight engine means that you can actually have
multiple engines or rotor in the car. Regardless of how many engines that one
may be brave enough to fit in, it will still remain as a 1.3L, but with an immense
amount of HP and torque.
To achieve this power, the engine on this desirable ride has
been rebuilt up from scratch. For this 13B-REW engine, Apex up seals are used,
as with all rotary engines, the engine housing has different temperatures in
each separate chamber. Primary injectors are 550cc and the secondaries are
1600cc together with custom fuel rails. Sard fuel regular is used to control
the fuel pressure. HKS twin sparks followed by NGK Iridium spark plugs are
installed.
Then an aluminium lighten pulley is used to lighten the engine load,
pumping out more power from the stock turbo has been replaced with Borg Warner
turbo and to complete the turbo set, GReddy intake manifold, GReddy
intercooler, GReddy radiator, Turbosmar wastegate 46mm, Turbosmart blowoff and
HKS air intake filter. Also to control the exhaust fumes emitted from this
monster, custom exhaust piping with HKS titanium muffler is used.
The Transmission is the stock 5 speed manual with LSD but
the RE Amemiya twin plate clutch is used to utilize the potential that the
engine has to offer. In additional, the 4.0 final drive is used together with
these settings. Least but not forget, stopping the power for this power boost.
Brembos 6 pot in the front and Brembo 4 pot for the rear with both using
Brembos 500 deg pad for the high speed braking that the machine will be
required to do so.
The suspensions…….complated with Tein Monoflex with custom
polyeutherene bushings. For the wheels 20” customs Rims installed with -9j on
the front and -10.5j for the rear.
