Subaru Outback for the packers
Motor Image Malaysia, the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in Malaysia, introduced the all-new Subaru Outback on the 29th April 2015, offering customers an experience of supreme performance, responsive handling and luxurious comfort.
The Subaru Outback comes in a 2.5i-S, 4 cylinder and trademark boxer engine. It features:
• Revamped chassis, steering, suspension and brakes
• New crossover look with a bold body shape, bigger tires and muscular fenders
• Enhanced off-road performance with Symmetrical AWD system and X-MODE
• Improved Active and Passive safety systems
The all-new Subaru Outback is a unique crossover concept that combines passenger-car comfort with the long-distance capabilities and load space of an SUV. While developing the latest generation Outback, Subaru has consistently sought to deliver a crossover with class leading performance, AWD handling capabilities and all round driver and passenger safety.
The all-new Subaru Outback features a new distinct crossover look with a bold, rugged body shape, bigger tires and muscular fenders. Its thicker body evokes strength and confidence. Meticulously crafted, the expressive body panels accentuate the sense of quality and class to be expected from any Subaru.
As well as enhancements to the external look of the vehicle, reduction in wind resistance has been achieved by improving airflow over the rear of the body which also makes a major contribution to reduced fuel consumption at high speeds.
The elegant, top-grade interior includes a dual-dial gauge cluster with a three-dimensional feel and a triple-spoke steering wheel with multifunction switches. Interior materials have been carefully selected to achieve a high level of quality.
In order to improve comfort without compromising the handling, the body frame shape has been completely redesigned to improve the dynamic rigidity of the rear suspension and its mounting positions on the chassis.
In addition to Subaru’s unique Symmetrical AWD system, the new Outback is equipped with X-MODE, capable of enhancing driving performance on poor roads through optimised integrated control of engine, four-wheel drive, braking, and other functions on slippery surfaces.
The Outback is now available for booking at all Motor Image Malaysia showrooms. The price for the 2.5i – S Outback is at RM224,846.30 for private registration. Only one variant for the masses with of course everything including GST.
