SEPANG, 25 December 2014 – Amping up the excitement early for Malaysia’s three biggest motorsport events, Sepang International Circuit (SIC) is offering unmissable discounts to motorsports fans for the purchase of tickets to the 2015 Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix™, eni FIM Superbike World Championship 2015 and Shell Advance Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix 2015.

With SIC’s early bird promotions programme, tickets for the 2015 Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix™ are being offered at a 50 percent discount, while discounts up to RM30 are available for tickets to the eni FIM Superbike World Championship 2015 and reductions of up to RM50 are being offered for tickets to the Shell Advance Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix 2015, which will be held in August and October respectively next year, in Sepang.

To catch the F1 Grand Prix race in Malaysia - slotted as the second round of the 2015 season from March 27 to 29 next year, Formula 1 fans should not delay their ticket purchases as promotions for the 17th edition of the Malaysian F1 race ends on 31 December this year.

“I would strongly advise Formula 1 fans to buy their tickets now and enjoy our 50 percent discount. You can easily purchase these tickets online or come to our any of our promotional kiosks in the city,” says SIC Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Razlan Razali.

Fans can also purchase the tickets by calling the SIC TICKET HOTLINE at 03-8778 2222 and speak to any of SIC’s staff, Dato’ Razlan added.

Other than seats in the Diamond, Sapphire and Emerald zones – which are excluded from the promotion, all other seats are being offered at a 50 percent discount for tickets purchased by the end of 2014. For instance, Ruby zone seats, which are located in the prime North Upper Tier of the Main Grandstand area, are currently offered at only RM666 against its normal price of RM1,330.

“The uncovered Hillstand seats at K2, C1 and C3 are now offered at only RM41, which again makes the Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix in Sepang the most affordable - compared to other F1 races around the world,” Dato’ Razlan said, adding that as with previous years, the F1 race in Sepang would offer a host of both on-track and off-track attraction for the fans.

For the second edition of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship in Sepang, Dato’ Razlan said SIC is selling three categories of tickets, with across the board discounts for all tickets under its early bird promotion programme that will run until 31 May next year.

For the eni FIM Superbike World Championship 2015 to be held from 31 July to 2 August 2015, the Main Grandstand North tickets are selling at only RM100 - compared to the normal price of RM130. The tickets for the K1 Grandstand, which is located above the opening chicane of the 15-turn track – offering a perfect view of the race start, is priced at RM60 under the early bird promotion offer.

Inspired by the success of last year’s Shell Advance Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix, SIC is continuing with its Premier Roving tickets programme, which allows ticket holders access to all spectator areas.

For purchases before 30 June under the early bird promotion, the Premier Roving tickets are being offered at a RM50 discount - with a price of only RM250.
