The Serpent of an Angry Bull
With
another additional 60ps from the 6.5-liter V12 engine that now develops 760ps
in the Limited Edition in the BULL.
Keeping
up with the current dream of everyone, The Lamborghini Aventador is the current
hot topic in the mind’s of many European car enthusiastic. It was introduced to
back in 2011, the Aventador was made to replace the ten-year-old Murcielago.
Taking
a look at different angle, it does look like a serpent. How would you feel
having a fast slithering serpent along with a bull? It is designed and created
with a new V12 engine, specifically for the Aventador by giving it 700ps 6.5
litres power boost that sitting in the engine bay. Hmm…. Such a big heart for a
snake? The Aventador’s transmission is a single clutch over other supercars
which have double cutch. Even though, being single clutch, gear shifts are accomplished
in 50 miliseconds.
The
car’s shape borrows heavily from Lamborghini’s limited edition Reventon and
Estoque, combining both its features, Lamborghini created a supercar that is as
fierce as a red-eyed bull. Famous BMW Tuner Hamman took the Aventador and took
it to the next level. Hamann Motorsport GmbH is a German car tuning company
based in Laupheim. It specialises in Audi, Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW, Mini,
Ferrari, Fiat, Jaguar, Land Rover, Maserati, Mercedes, Rolls Royce, Porsche and
Lamborghini cars. The company was originally founded only to work with cars
made in Germany, specifically BMW, but since then, has expanded its business
into other car manufacturers such as Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin and
Ferrari. It also creates its own, one-of-a-kind cars.
The
Hamann "Limited" is uniqueness in every way. First it would be the
paint colour is a special matte grey paint named “Stealth Grey” and the
contrasts are “poison” green which is a contrast of the body. Colour
similarities inside, a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel is trimmed in
green leather on the top and bottom. Intricately stitched applications on the instrument
panel, the side panels and the centre console correspond excellently with other
features, such the instrument panel cover and the seat tracks of the exclusive,
high-speed sports seats.
Apart
from just the exterior aesthetic and aerodynamic upgrades the performance has
also been upgraded with an ECU reprogram that increased the power by 60hp and
50Nm of torque. Needless to say the standard car alone was already very fast
and the extra performance definitely pushes that a bit further. The large air
intake slots on the engine compartment lid supply the huge V12 with plenty of
cool air. Here, Hamann has integrated very high quality clear-coated carbon
fibre, which allows a clear view of the Lamborghini power package.
The
major change to the aerodynamic is the massive adjustable rear wing and
reformatted diffuser that will increase the downforce at high speed. As
expected with the high horsepower the car will need the extra downforce to keep
it stable at high speed.
The
front boasts custom-made carbon air vent inserts. Whereas, the optical
counterpart of the lightweight nostrils is the two-piece front spoiler made of
the same high strength racing material, which provides for racing grade down
force and gives the front wheels increased grip. To optimize the aerodynamics,
the new eye-catching side skirts help calm the airflow on the underside.
Hamann
also developed the sport final muffler specifically for the
"Limited." There is also a special race version available with
backfire. Spouting flames from the back definitely gave it the racing feel to
the entire package.
Highlights
of the customised Aventador are the alloy wheels, which go perfectly with its
new look. The multi-part Hamann "Professional" is produced by a
forging process, which guarantees maximum driving dynamics through lightness
and the highest level of stiffness. The high-performance wheels in sizes 9x20
and 13x21 inch bear ultra-high-performance tyres in sizes 255/30 ZR 20 in front
and 355/25 ZR 21 in the back.
So
thinking that owning an Aventador is now boring, you can try getting your hands
on Hamman’s “Limited”. You can be assured of the exclusivity that comes with
the bull. Looking... staring at this wonder really gets your adrenaline
pumping, hoping to get in this machine and take a spin regardless on how short
the distance in the hopes that it might calm the rush of blood. The machine
really makes you feel like just slamming the throttle all the way down to feel
its full 760ps rush and the feeling of being glued to your seat just barely
able to move.
